AR Rahman for Aged Actress Sridevi

Sridevi’s return to the silver screen in 2012 with the outstanding ‘English Vinglish’ was enough to prove that the actress still has it. Now, five years later, the actress will be back with another interesting project titled ‘Mom’.

The movie, which we hear will be a thriller, will also be the legendary actress’ first collaboration with renowned singer and composer A R Rahman. The Oscar winning musician will score the music for this Ravi Udyawar direction. The film, which will be co-produced by Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor, will also feature actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna.

The teaser and poster for this upcoming venture have been released. The short teaser has an impactful speech by Nawazuddin which goes, “Badalte waqt me bhi nahi badalta uska pyar. Baccho ke liye phool si, dushman ke liye talwar. Lakshmi bhi wo, Saraswati, Durga aur Kali bhi. Usise ghar mein hoti hai Holi, Eid, Diwali bhi. Mamta ke hain duniya me kai naam – maa kaho, amma kaho ya kaho mom.”
