Atlee Film in Big Trouble? Getting Over Ambitious?

While the director was supposed to work with Salman Khan in a big-budget action film alongside another superstar, the film is now facing trouble due to casting issues. An insider claimed that although Atlee planned to bring Rajnikanth or Kamal Haasan on board, the discussions did not work out.

Atlee then went to Hollywood star Will Smith after being helped by Salman in the same. While things were going fine with Smith, the producer Sun Pictures wanted to have only a South superstar and since Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan were not finalized, they were not willing to make the film without a South superstar.

Furthermore, Atlee has been told to take a break and rethink who should be cast in the film. However, a source has confirmed that the film is not canceled yet and that Salman and Atlee are working to find a solution, which is expected to come out by next month.

While Salman Khan’s fans were excited to see him work with Atlee, it seems like they have to wait for some more time. Even if the casting is finalized in some manner, the film is going to take a few more years to get released on the big screen.

Bringing Salman alongside Rajnikanth or Kamal Haasan in one film is undoubtedly a tough job to do and Atlee must be praised for trying to do it.

Atlee went through a bad phase recently after the failure of Baby John, a remake of his film Theri, where he served as a producer. It seems like Atlee is planning to bounce back by joining a big superstar and break the records that he made with Jawan.
