Baahubali 2 Out Of Reach For Megastar

The fact that there is a Salman Khan film releasing today and there is almost no buzz on that should be telling the sorry state of the movie. Tubelight, starring Salman Khan is all set to release tomorrow with a record number of shows.

The advance booking report of the movie makes things clear. The openings of Baahubali 2 are out of reach for Salman Khan. The best case scenario predicted by the trade right now is the opening day scraping past 20 Cr. If word of mouth is not positive, expect a bigger embarrassment.

Of course, the lackluster opening would not be a reflection of stardom that Salman Khan enjoys. The Bollywood Megastar is going through the best phase of his career. It just shows even in the best phase and that too with the best combination, openings aren’t a guarantee unless the subject is interesting. Tubelight, from its first promo, looked like a dud in the making. Let’s wait for the actual numbers, though.
