Hot Film: Censor Insults the Female Producer

Babumoshai Bandookbaaza created a fuzz on the internet already with the surprise romance of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the Barfani song which was too sensual. But the people might not get the good peek at the whole content of the song and the film because the Central Board of Film Certification raised several objections to the film.

The film has been given an A certificate and yet the board members asked for 48 cuts in the film to be certified. “48 cuts! that is a lot, what would be left in the film to show? All the good content and the essence of the film would be gone” Says Kiran Shroff, the producer of the film who also faced an insult from the board members.

She said that one of the women from the committee said: ” How can you make such film being a woman” while the other male member pointed at her dressing saying she is not a woman look at the pant and shirt that she is wearing. Adding to that, Pahlaj Nihalani asked Kiran to be happy that the board didn’t Ban the film at least.

Seriously! Is this the thinking of our board who certifies what can and what cannot reach the viewers, so out dated and immature they are. That is so disappointing.
