Himesh Reshammiya took a huge risk by releasing his action entertainer Badass Ravi Kumar in theatres today. While the satirical comedy genre is not popular in India, the film looked as a breath of fresh air with its parodical plot.
While the makers knew what they were getting into, fans loved the comedic angles the film aimed to showcase along with Himesh Reshammiya’s screen presence.
Depicting the 1980s action era of Bollywood, the film heavily relies on its dialogues which might sound sarcastic and satirical at times making it a fun one-time watch.
The film has opened to mixed reviews from critics and viewers as many viewers loved the vibe and dialogue delivery of Himesh Reshammiya, while others called it a boring and underwhelming watch.
The makers already insisted the viewers to not find any logic in the plot and most of the critics have pointed out the same point in their reviews. Without applying any logic on the film, viewers enjoyed the high energy songs and spicy dialogues.
As the film is buzzing all over the internet, it is looking for a mediocre weekend at the box office and is expected to collect around 4-5 crores on its first day.
