Biopic breathes life into young star career

Emraan Hashmi, the name needs no introduction to Indian movie lovers. He was super popular as serial kisser many moons ago. However with ‘acting’ bug biting him, Emraan slowly started losing his stardom.

His last few movies have been huge disasters at box office with very poor openings to boot. Finally he has overcome the poor run with a controversial biopic of Azhar. The film right from the day of announcement looked like it could be the one to bail out and finally that’s how it has turned out.

Despite mixed reviews leaning more on negative side, the Azhar has got best opening for Emraan in last four to five years. It has to be seen if the film can sustain or not but for now this is enough for the actor to get little bit of relief.
