Blockbuster Director Responds to Harassment Rumours

Rajkumar Hirani is one of those names in Bollywood whose names will be taken with reverence but the same director, Rajkumar Hirani has to face sexual harassment from one of the members of his crew, a female member who worked for his recent blockbuster ‘Sanju’, a biopic on the controversial superstar Sanjay Dutt. The director responded on this issue through a statement.

The director made counter allegations saying that the hidden intention behind the sexual harassment allegations was to destroy his reputation. Raj Kumar’s statement asks why the above-mentioned female didn’t go to a legal body for justice instead of spreading the rumours all over in the media. Though we don’t know what might have happened, the director’s story comes in the wake of the sexual harassment allegations.

Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Munnabhai’ franchise earned him a great reputation and the same has been remade in Telugu with Chiranjeevi as ‘Shankardada MBBS’ and ‘Shankardada Zindabad’. He delivered thought-provoking and sensible movies like ‘pk’ and ‘3 Idiots’ with Aamir Khan. The asexual harassment allegations on such a director shocked Bollywood, big time. By the way, the name of the female crew member isn’t revealed in the reports published, so far.
