Bollywood Biggest Opener Not a Threat to Rajamouli

Bollywood big release ‘Sanju‘ was seen as a potential threat to ‘Bahubali, The Conclusion’. The killer combination of Rajkumar Hirani, Ranbir Kapoor and of course the story of a real-life controversial star actor was justly seen as a non-Baahubali movie that can break the records in Bollywood.

However, Rajamouli passed the initial test as ‘Sanju’ managed to open bigger than all the non-Baahubali releases but not ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’. ‘Sanju’ collected a whopping Rs. 34.75 crores on opening day while ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’ collected mind-blowing Rs. 41 crore. Both the movies have one thing in common. These two movies released on a non-holiday and breaking the box-office with collections.

In the long run, ‘Sanju’ is expected to beat all the Bollywood releases. However, beating the lifetime collections of Rajamouli’s epic drama isn’t that easy as we know the nation-wide pre-release craze it enjoyed was entirely different when the entire nation was crazily waiting to know, “Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?”
