Pakistan’s Big Star Mocks Border 2’s Viral Dialogue

The teaser of Border 2 has sparked heavy trolling online. Many users criticised the VFX and editing, calling the visuals unrealistic. The teaser quickly became a talking point across social media platforms.

Despite the criticism, a section of the audience is still excited. The film’s patriotic theme and large star cast have kept expectations alive. Many believe these factors could help the film perform decently at the box office.

The teaser also features Sunny Deol delivering his iconic ‘Lahore Tak’ dialogue. The line instantly energized fans and went viral soon after the teaser’s release. It became one of the most discussed moments from the promo.

However, the dialogue appears to have upset some in Pakistan. Pakistani actor Shaan Shahid took a dig at India through a social media post. His comment mocked the line and included the hashtag #OperationBunyanalMarsoos.

The post referred to Pakistan’s claims of downing six Indian Rafale jets during the May 2025 conflict between the two countries. Shaan Shahid linked his comment to Operation Bunyan al-Marsoos, which is associated with the same period of heightened tensions.

Indian users have largely dismissed these claims in the past. At present, many are choosing to ignore the statement. Pakistani users, meanwhile, continue to defend the claims as factual, keeping the debate active online.
