CBFC Okay with Serial Kissing of Young Hero

Central Board of Film Certification has become notoriously famous for ruthlessly exercising scissors on kissing and bold scenes. But, now CBFC chief has surprised the cine folks by allowing and passing the kissing scenes of a film with just an U/A.

Though the trailer of ‘Befikre‘ has numerous kissing scenes between Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, it was passed with an U/A surprising many in the industry. Censor Board Pehlaj Nihalani opines that those scenes were not frivolous and intimate scenes. These are shot aesthetically in long shots.

It’s very obvious that the CBFC had acted very liberal with this film, the directorial debut of Aditya Chopra, the chief of one of the top most production houses YRF. But CBFC chief doesn’t agree with this. He says cine folks have problems both when he is strict and liberal as well.
