While promoting Chhaava Vicky spoke about learning horse riding, intense action training and no fake props or VFX.

Fans were quick to assume this was a dig at Akshay who often shoots quick. But is that true or just an online rumour?

During promotions Vicky stressed on the dedication required for Chhaava and months of physical prep.

He didn’t mention Akshay Kumar nor compared his effort to any other actor. The idea of him throwing shade seems to be more fan driven than fact based.

Numbers don’t lie according to box office experts Chhaava opened at ₹31 crore the biggest for Vicky Kaushal so far.

Comparisons are being made to Akshay’s recent releases especially Sky Force which had a lower opening. But one big opening defines a career? Akshay is a box office king with decades of consistency.

This isn’t the first time social media has twisted words to create drama. Actors have different approach—Vicky goes deep into roles while Akshay is known for efficiency and speed. Does that mean one is better than the other? Not necessarily.

At the end of the day Chhaava’s success speaks for itself and Vicky deserves the praise. But was there any real insult to Akshay? Unlikely. Looks like another case of the internet making noise over nothing.
