Chhaava: Why Telugu Tamil Dubs are a Big Regret?

Vicky Kaushal continues to roar at the box office with Chhaava and is running riots by bolstering the box office.

As the film continues to be the talk of the town, it is important to point out a huge drawback that the makers failed to capitalize on.

South Indian films are continuously being dubbed in Hindi to generate a wider audience response ultimately adding more to the film’s overall box office collection.

On the other hand, for a captivating film like Chhaava, the makers didn’t release a Telugu or Tamil dub for the film which is undoubtedly a loss for them.

While the film has generated a lot of hype in the Hindi box office, it would have benefitted with a Telugu release.

Even though Tamil audiences are notoriously popular for not watching any other language films, they are also pushing their content to other industries like Telugu and Hindi. Recent examples are Vettaiyan, Indian 2, and Kanguva, all of which had their Hindi versions released in the North.

As the film will gear up for an OTT release in the upcoming months, chances are that a poor Tamil or Telugu dub will be done on the film by the OTT platform hence degrading the quality of the film.
