Deepika Padukone, who charged 1 crore in Ramleela, raised her bar to 7 crore for Bajirao-Mastani and then took a long jump to 12 crores for her current project Padmavati. With this, she even made it to the Forbes’s list of top 10 highly paid actresses in the world.

As the sources say, the actress is the first in Bollywood to charge such amount among the female actors. Not just that, she is sticking to the same remuneration for the next projects that have been approached for, which is why the filmmakers are taking their step back on casting her in their films.
