Yudhra turned out to be a hollow film in its box office run at the theatres. For all its high and mighty claims the film has turned into a disaster and hardly earned 8.6 crores.
On top of a bad box office performance, the performances of the actors have also been shallow and lifeless. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal can be seen battling against each other in a bland set of sequences, and people are disappointed with Malavika Mohanan’s acting.
But Malavika’s PR team has been quick to damage control. It is being channelled on social media that her performance has been commendable, while audiences found her overreacting hard to watch.
She was trying too hard to seem sexy and suave, and people found her very irritating for this. It seems like her PR team would have to resort to more of such tricks to save her reputation as her next project is a big one.
She will soon be seen with Prabhas in The Raja Saab. This will mark her debut in the Telugu industry. It is going to be a horror-comedy directed by the well known Telugu director Maruthi.
Now, she wishes to save the horrific disaster of Yudhra. Although, she will have to rely more on her acting skills than the PR gimmicks.
