Dhurandhar 2: First Part Just Ranveer Singh’s Trailer?

Fans are eagerly waiting for the much anticipated sequel Dhurandhar 2, scheduled for release on 19 March 2026. The spotlight is firmly on Ranveer Singh this time. Expectations are high after the first part generated strong discussions.

Akshaye Khanna became the standout performer in Dhurandhar and was widely praised for his screen presence. Many viewers felt that Ranveer Singh was overshadowed by the senior actor. His role appeared limited in several scenes dominated by other antagonists.

Ranveer Singh’s character was portrayed in a restrained manner in the first film. Despite this, industry insiders believe the sequel will present a major shift. Dhurandhar 2 is expected to offer the Simmba actor a much stronger narrative space.

In a recent interview, R Madhavan described the first part as merely a trailer. He stated that the real arc of Ranveer Singh’s character will unfold in the second film. This comment further raised expectations among fans.

Casting director Mukesh Chhabra also spoke about Ranveer Singh’s role in the sequel. He said the actor’s energy and performance would uplift the film significantly. He added that the calm and silent portrayal in the first part was intentional.

With Akshaye Khanna commanding attention in Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar 2 may allow Ranveer Singh to shine individually. Fans are hopeful that the sequel will deliver an iconic performance and elevate the franchise to a new level.
