The overseas performance of Dhurandhar: The Revenge has become a major talking point. The film has set strong numbers globally and is now being compared with past releases of Shah Rukh Khan.
According to Pinkvilla, Dhurandhar: The Revenge collected nearly Rs. 407 crores overseas. This roughly translates to USD 43.36 million. The current total does not include China collections.
Despite strong numbers, the film is still behind Pathaan and Jawan. However, its performance is notable when compared across different regions. The gap is not as wide as expected.
Starring Ranveer Singh, the film did not release in the Middle East and Bangladesh. Even without these key markets, the collections remained solid and consistent.
Interestingly, Pathaan collected around USD 33.22 million overseas, while Jawan recorded USD 28.87 million. This puts Dhurandhar: The Revenge ahead in several comparisons.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film could have earned more with a Middle East release. Trade estimates suggest an extra USD 10 to 15 million was possible.
This means the film might have reached USD 55 to 60 million globally. That would have pushed it into a stronger record-breaking position.

Earlier, the Indian box office was the main focus for big films. Now, overseas markets are equally competitive and important for success.
Trade experts believe it is difficult to predict future trends. Upcoming films will need strong content to match or beat Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
With rising budgets, expectations are also increasing. Audience preference is clearly shifting towards quality content over star power.
The general trend is that the urban population are generally slow and low when it…
