His next directorial venture, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video will be releasing on 11 October. It will be battling against Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra which is an emotionally entangled action-thriller film.
He has often been noticed for smashing mainstream Bollywood comedies. He believes that makers of comic films don’t have anything new to offer and copy from the much repeated tropes of Bollywood. Filmmakers fail to impress Raaj Shaandilyaa in terms of their comic appeal, he hardly finds 3-4 films a year worth the watch.
Amidst all these claims it becomes clear that he holds his own projects to higher esteem. There is no doubt that he has given some really thought provoking comedies in the past. But his uncanny arrogance falls short when his own projects are put to test for authenticity!
