Don’t Spread Rumours on Acclaimed Actor’s Health

Coronavirus is playing its cruel game and keeping the entire world in its grip of terror for a couple of months, now. In this scenario, when news about a popular name like Irrfan Khan‘s health surfaces, normally there would be anxiety among his fans.

The official spokesperson of the acclaimed actor released a press statement stating that the actor is under medical care for his colon infection and is getting treated in Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai and so, the ‘Life of Pi’ actor needs the prayers of his well-wishers.

The statement also appealed to people not to spread extreme rumours that have been creating panic among those who care about his health. For those who are uninitiated, Irrfan Khan has been diagnosed with a tumour a couple of years ago.

Since then, he has been undergoing treatment and under proper medical care. His present admission into the hospital is for colon infection not because of aggravation of his cancer. Hope, all is going to be okay with him.
