Double Blow to Arjun Reddy Remake Release?

‘Arjun Reddy’ Hindi remake was rescheduled to a later date in August. Initially, it was scheduled to go on to the floors from the last week of July onwards. But, Shahid Kapoor who is getting into the shoes of Vijay Deverakonda wants to grow a real beard instead of sporting a new one.

That’s the reason for rescheduling the shoot though Sandeep Reddy Vanga gave his nod and for sporting a fake beard. With this postponement, the movie will be releasing next year on 21st June. June 2019 has no big releases announced so far as there will be world cup cricket matches then.

Next year, Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ and the Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ will be there for June releases like this year’s ‘Race 3’ and ‘Sanju’. The present situation is like a double blow for the Hindi remake as it was postponed in the first place and the next year during its release there will be world cup matches.
