Drishyam 3 Trade Reports: 400 Cr Blockbuster or Just PR?

Drishyam: The Conclusion is creating a lot of buzz with a few more days left until release. The trailer has already raised curiosity among the audience, as they are excited to see how Vijay Salgaonkar will save his family this time.

The movie is releasing on October 2, 2026, and the verdict is out now from distributors and industry people who have watched it in advance. They have already declared that Drishyam: The Conclusion will emerge as the highest-grosser of Ajay Devgn’s career.

The best thing that has worked in favour of the film is that it is reportedly bringing a fresh storyline and screenplay instead of repeating what people have seen in Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3.

The trailer has indicated that the situation is going to be more intense for Vijay’s family this time, as the opposite side is more interested in taking revenge instead of punishing everyone for the crime they committed. This is what makes things more interesting, and the casting of new faces like Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj has taken the excitement to a different level.

While the opinions of trade experts and industry people are trending, a particular section is claiming that it might be planted by the film’s PR. Whatever the truth might be, everyone has to wait until the release of the film to know the real results.

Trade experts have predicted that after Dhurandhar 2, Drishyam: The Conclusion has a chance of opening at Rs. 50 crores on the first day. Some have stated that it might be more than that, specifically if the morning shows are able to pull audiences with 100% occupancy.

Distributors have stated that the film is expected to easily collect Rs. 350-400 crores in India. The movie’s release on a national holiday is going to help a lot, followed by a boost on the weekend. But everyone is waiting to see if the final numbers are going to be double those of Drishyam 2, which was released in 2022.

As of now, there is a lot of hype for the sequel. Let’s wait and see how it is going to break records at the box office.
