Kangana Ranaut who is not only a Bollywood celebrity but now also a political figure has been in controversy ever since her comments on the farmers law. Initially she stated that the farmers law should be brought back at a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had repealed it.
Going against the stance of her political party, she was scolded by the BJP and publicly condemned. Many BJP members and spokespersons clarified that her statements were personal and had nothing to do with the party’s opinions.
After those comments, Kangana has undergone extreme backlash for her film Emergency which is still due for a release. Her defence even stated in the High Court that her own party BJP is not letting it to be released because of elections in Haryana.
Now she has released a video on her social media in which she apologised for hurting the sentiments of people with her comments. She even stated that she should have been careful as her words also reflect upon her party.
Netizens are wondering if all the backlash against her film has forced her to make this statement. Kangana is known for her bold statements and to see her apologising like this is something new – her fans believe that it might be the pressure from BJP and controversy surrounding Emergency that she made this video.
