Kashmir Attack: This Film’s Release Impossible Now

Vaani Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s upcoming ‘Abir Gulaal’ seems to be under serious trouble, with very high chances for it to go unreleased.

The film recently had its music launch in Dubai. Currently scheduled to release on 9th May 2025, the film is receiving brutal backlash from all fronts.

While several groups, including Shiv Sena, were adamant about making sure that the movie does not see the light of day, the recent Pahalgam Terror attacks have changed things drastically.

The film was already facing heat, significantly decreasing its chances of a smooth release. But now it seems nearly impossible that the authorities, as well as the public, would even give a second thought to a film with connections to Pakistan.

With emotions of patriotism at an all-time high, it is only a matter of time before some kind of announcement is made regarding the film’s future in India.
