Good Ratings but Poor Collections for the Sequel

Vidya Balan is one Bollywood actress who has the ability and agility to enter into the skin of the characters she plays and gives the best to those characters. Her latest film ‘Kahani 2’ has won rave reviews and the actress is being showered with praises for the reprisal of her role.

Surprisingly, the film is receiving a poor response from the audiences in spite of the good reviews. This is really surprising as ‘Kahani’ did really well at the box-office. Vidya Balan’s films are said to be for intelligent audiences, but ‘Kahani’ broke that myth by picking up slowly.

So, the makers of the movie are expecting the movie to pick up slowly. ‘Kahani 2’ has collected Rs. 4.25 crore on the first day. The collections are really disappointing for a film like this and when the prequel had been a runaway hit. Let’s hope that audiences change their verdict for Vidya Balan’s latest release in the coming days.
