Akshay Postpones Most Awaited Film for Remake?

Many were quite disappointed when Paresh Rawal decided to walk out of Hera Pheri 3, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Suneil Shetty.

However, the good part is that Paresh confirmed his return to the franchise after a controversial fallout with the makers, including Akshay himself regarding the payment.

Even after that, fans hoping to see the iconic trio together again may have to wait a little longer. Yes, unfortunately, Hera Pheri 3 might not be around anytime shoot because it has been reportedly postponed!

This all happened after Akshay Kumar dropped a bombshell announcement recently with Haiwaan. For the unversed, the edge-of-the-seat thriller will be directed by none other than Priyadarshan himself.

Co-starring Saif Ali Khan, the film marks the duo’s reunion after 17 years. Of course, we all know how Akshay and Saif’s last film Tashan was in 2008.

Sources also confirm that Haiwaan is set to begin filming in August and will hit theatres next year.

With Akshay recently wrapping up Bhooth Bangla and Saif Ali Khan last seen in Jewel Thief, the excitement around this thriller is already sky-high!

Though Hera Pheri 3 is still in the pipeline, Akshay may focus more on Haiwaan right now as it is set to become one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of 2025.
