Heroine Affected by Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 Ban

Heroine Kriti Sanon was hospitalised because she collapsed on the sets of her upcoming movie ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ while shooting in Lucknow. Kriti was shooting for the movie despite suffering with high fever.

When she was admitted to the hospital, the crew of the film found it difficult to pay for her medicines as they had only Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes. To get medicines for Kriti, the crew of the film collected money, whatever change they had with them.

When that wasn’t enough, then, they had to even go for a change to exchange their 1000 rupee note for Rs. 800 with denominations of Rs. 50 and Rs. 100. Hawala money is flowing like rivers in the form of exchange of high denomination notes for lower ones.

Currently, there is a mixed response to the ban of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes because the common man is facing problems when they don’t have any change for Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000. This situation is prevalent everywhere across the country.
