Hindi ‘Arjun Reddy’ in Hospital

Bollywood remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ with Shahid Kapoor has become quite a prestigious project for the makers of the movie, the filmmaker and the lead Shahid Kapoor by the virtue of the blockbuster status of the original, ‘Arjun Reddy‘. Shahid Kapoor is presently concentrating on this movie, alone.

Presently, the unit is shooting the hospital scenes at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor is seen in a wheelchair who is brought to a hospital and being pushed by a girl. Kiara Advani is playing the female lead and she is yet to join the shooting of the film. Looks like Shahid Kapoor is taking this role very seriously and the ambience as revealed by sources is like an authentic setup.

There would be a lot of comparisons between ‘Arjun Reddy’ and the Hindi remake ‘Kabir Singh’. The director of the original and the Hindi remake is Sandeep Reddy Vanga on whom there rests a huge responsibility to live up to the expectations and make the remake better than the original as he was the one who always maintained that he restricted himself keeping the sensibilities of regional audiences for the Telugu movie.
