Horrible Response for Classic Remake

‘Masakali’ has been one of those classic songs from Maestro AR Rehman that brought him fame for his musical numbers. Now, the remake version of the song titled ‘Masakali 2.0’ was released to a very horrific response.

The remake song featured Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria as the romantic couple. There was nothing exciting about their chemistry and the worst part is Siddharth Malhotra’s wig. He was looking horrible in that wig.

Naturally, AR Rehman is upset for remaking and the spoiling the original song that he laboured with 200 musicians, writes and re-writes from the lyricist and then the director’s entire team set to action to make ‘Masakali’ a memorable one.

The response for the remake song has been nothing less than horrible. A classic song ripped apart with unnecessary remake with a poor set up that also seems to have been copied from ‘Humma Humma’ song set up from ‘Bombay’ movie. Nothing original, huh!

Tanishk Bagchi has recreated the music for the remake version while Sachet Tandon and Tulsi Kumar gave their vocals for the song that has been receiving a bad response.
