Imagine, however, if a woman portrayed to be one of the most beautiful actresses in the country has never really been proposed to. Impossible, isn’t it? That happened with Disha Patani, yet another epitome of modern beauty and grace carried by Bollywood.
At the time of promotion of “Malang,” Disha shared her supposedly “sad life” and also expressed that neither during her school days nor after she looked so pretty and so much loved that she ever received a single romantic proposal.
It looked as though the tomboyish Disha of school days, putting her father’s profession as a cop, would deter any man out there to propose to her.
Cut to till today, the actress is in bankable Bollywood star now, being so followed by her fanbase ever since her stint in Bollywood debut “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.”
Nevertheless, it remains as true as ever that as elusive as Disha’s personal life is in public, so are the rumours: She might have dated several big stars, but her story tells a surprisingly different tale-Adored by the entire nation, yet no romance in life.
It is just such openness in the case of admitting that she has not been proposed to, combined with stories admitting the same, that sets her apart. Few other celebrities so successfully humanize themselves. It is a much-needed realization that even the perfect glittering have their twitches and hindrances.
One waits anxiously for the happening of her next moments, of which her Hollywood debut alongside people like Tyrese Gibson would be an interesting element. In truth, it is not these revelations but the very frankness that Disha cannot merely be a star but somebody anyone could identify as likeable.
Although her love life maybe silent, her charm and sincerity continue to evoke great awe even beyond the silver screen.
