Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 Unveils Akshay’s Biggest Film

After six years of long wait, Housefull 5 is finally arriving in theatres and audiences can now prepare themselves to witness a glimpse of the big-budget comedy entertainer.

With an ensemble star cast, the upcoming sequel is expected to leave a mark at the box office, considering the popularity of the franchise. Meanwhile, a source has claimed that an asset of the film is being reportedly attached to Raid 2, which is arriving on May 1, 2025.

The insider stated that the asset will run for around three minutes and that the theatres have reportedly claimed that the asset would be a song promo. However, further details would come out once Raid 2 arrives in theatres.

Meanwhile, Housefull 5 is releasing on June 6, 2025, and the arrival of an asset, even if it’s a trailer, a month before the film’s release, can turn out to be beneficial, specifically in terms of box office collections.

Raid 2 is expected to attract audiences in large numbers since the trailer has already left an impression. In case the opening day response is good, the numbers would rise by the weekend, leading to more people watching the asset from Housefull 5.

Reportedly made on a budget of almost Rs. 375 crores, Housefull 5 needs a better promotion strategy to emerge as a big blockbuster. Moreover, it is an important film for Sajid Nadiadwala, who has been struggling to deliver a hit after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apart from that, Akshay’s films have also not been working for a long time and things might change for the actor, as it marks his return to a film that completely focuses on comedy. Let’s wait and see if the asset would help the film to become successful as per expectations.
