Hrithik Roshan’s team has finally cleared the air about his upcoming movies by addressing the rumors about him doing a romantic film with his father, Rakesh Roshan. A source clarified that no such film is happening because Hrithik is currently focusing on two other major projects instead.
Right now, Krrish 4 is in the final stages of scripting and pre production will start soon. People close to the production say that multiple drafts were written but Rakesh Roshan was not happy with the story, which is why the project did not start over the past few years.
Besides that, Hrithik is in talks with Hombale Films for a big budget action movie that has not started filming yet. Industry experts feel that Hrithik should take on more work and avoid long gaps at this stage of his career, especially since some believe that superhero movies are not as exciting as they once were.
The genre is very crowded and faces tough competition from Hollywood, so Krrish 4 might not perform as good as expected. There are also doubts about the Hombale project because Hrithik is not usually seen as a hero for the masses since his audience is mostly in A centres.
Experts feel that a full on “Desi” role might not attract crowds in B centres and point out that his movie Vikram Vedha flopped for the same reason. Even though experts have mixed opinions, Hrithik’s fans are waiting desperately for his next release.
