WAR 2: Why Hrithik Must Do More Frequent Films?

Hrithik Roshan has long been regarded as one of Bollywood’s finest actors, yet his presence in mainstream cinema today feels surprisingly limited. Despite being a performer who once ruled the big screen, his absence from frequent projects has created a visible void.

Over the years, Hrithik proved his range across genres, from heartfelt family drama in Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham to the superhero flair of Krrish and the intense action of Agneepath and WAR. Each role displayed his talent, leaving audiences mesmerised by his performances.

However, his fewer appearances in recent times have reduced his visibility among younger audiences. Many from Gen Z are growing up without experiencing the golden era of his versatile stardom, which once defined a generation of Bollywood fans.

The lukewarm reception to WAR 2 reflects this disconnect, showing that fans and critics are nostalgic for the time when Hrithik’s films were celebrated as major cinematic moments. The lack of impactful projects has weakened his connection with today’s moviegoers.

For Bollywood to truly benefit from his immense talent, Hrithik needs strong scripts that go beyond grand spectacles. He should ideally commit to at least one or two meaningful films every year to re-establish his standing.

Such consistent releases would not only remind audiences of his versatility but also revive the excitement and anticipation that once surrounded his name. Hrithik’s comeback in quality cinema could very well restore the magic that Bollywood has been missing.
