Dhurandhar has emerged as the biggest winner at the IIFA Awards 2026. Dhurandhar has taken 12 trophies home , including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor for Ranveer Singh. However, this year’s awards have drawn attention for another reason. Unlike previous editions, IIFA announced the winners without holding an on-ground awards ceremony.
Aditya Dhar’s film dominated several major categories. Ranveer Singh won Best Actor, Akshaye Khanna was recognised for his negative role, and Sanjay Dutt picked up the Best Supporting Actor award. Aditya Dhar also won honours for direction, original story, screenplay and dialogues.
Saiyaara also had a strong showing, with Aneet Padda winning Best Actress and the film collecting several music awards. Chhaava received recognition in technical categories, including background score, sound mixing and visual effects.
In the digital categories, Aryan Khan’s The Ba**ds of Bollywood* emerged as one of the major winners, taking home five awards.
While Dhurandhar dominated the winners’ list, the absence of the usual grand IIFA event is an unusual development. The reason for dropping the physical ceremony has not been officially explained.
