India’s Highest Paid Actress. Charges 24 Crores!

Kangana Ranaut has been in news for a long time now with one or the other controversies or film success and here she is again making headlines as India’s highest paid actress. A day after the film team confirms Kangana cast to play Jayalalithaa in her biopic, news bombed the internet with the whopping amount that she is taking for the role.

The actress is charging 24 crores for the biopic titled Thalaivi which will also be released in Hindi with the title of “Jaya.” No lady actor has received this remuneration so far in the country according to the reports and Kangana gets to it with her star image that the makers are also trying to encash.

Well, already people are wondering with the odd choice of Kangana for the biopic and the remuneration is only making the feeling weirder. The Manikarnika actress deserves it for her performance though. The film will commence shooting once the actress is done with the work for two projects that she is currently doing in Hindi.
