Is Ranbir Unlucky For Alia?

Vasan Bala’s directorial venture has come under much scrutiny and still failed to perform at the box office. The film witnesses Alia in a power packed role, many claimed that she is unleashing the tigress within.

Jigra’s Satya is a one of its kind role for Alia and includes an action packed adventure in which she must save her brother played by Vedang Raina. The film is clashing with Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and it has resulted in a bland prospect at the box office.

To add to the embarrassment Divya Khosla jumped in with the Savi plagiarism claims. She stated that the makers stole the concept of her film Savi and they even pre-booked theatre tickets to show fake collections.

All of this must have depressed Alia and netizens are claiming that it is the Ranbir Kapoor curse. Fans of Alia are blaming her husband for the failure of her film.

Jigra only collected 4.5 crore in its opening weekend. This marks the lowest opener for Alia in the decade – 10 years ago Highway proved to be her lowest opening film but at least it earned her critical acclaim.

Netizens believe that Ranbir’s lady-love always have such a fate. Be it his exes Katrina or Deepika and now Alia; closeness with Ranbir guarantees dull box office collection.
