Censor Board Hell Bent on Cutting Trailer Dialogue?

There is one word in one of the mini trailers of Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming release ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal‘ which became a thorn in the flesh for the CBFC and its chief, Pehlaj Nihalani is hell bent on taking legal action on the channels which aired the trailer.

What is that word? Intercourse. We see Anushka using the word, ‘intercourse’ in the most casual and natural way, but CBFC asked the makers to remove the word from the trailer. However, it was not deleted from the trailer that was released on the internet. So, CBFC is very cross on the makers for that word ‘intercourse’.

Nowadays, words like ‘sex’ and ‘sexuality’ have become so common that the shock factor associated with such words exists no longer. But, the Central Board of Film Certification hasn’t changed with times and hence, creating problems for the filmmakers who are making films for the contemporary audiences.
