Jersey Remake Leaves Hero with 13 Stitches

Bollywood star hero Shahid Kapoor has got 13 stitches on his mouth and was seen hiding his mouth with the help of a mask when he spotted and clicked recently alongside his wife Mira Rajput. He was injured while playing cricket in a cricket stadium in Mohali for ‘Jersey’.

Bollywood ‘Arjun Reddy’, Shahid Kapoor has got the taste of a blockbuster remake with ‘Kabir Singh‘ and now, he is into another remake of a Telugu film ‘Jersey’, with the same title in Bollywood, and also the director of the original, Gautham Tinnanuri.

The star has taken his role quite seriously, and seems to have no qualms regarding the injury and hence wrote, “Jersey has taken a little bit of my blood but a script this good deserves that in the least.” Worth it, anyway.

The Hindi remake of ‘Jersey’ has every chance to be a better one than the original and also to become a blockbuster, a bigger hit than the original, commercially. Maybe, Shahid Kapoor knows it and was ready to give his best effort for the role, Arjun.
