The year 2026 is still one year away but it has already created excitement for cinema lovers from Bollywood to Hollywood and regional cinema too. Many films are lined up to compete against each other and take the crown of box office dominators.
As far as Bollywood is concerned, SRK’s King is the highly anticipated project. It marks the debut of his daughter Suhana Khan and has Abhishek Bachchan in a negative role. It is going to be an action packed thriller starring the father-daughter duo. Romantic drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also coming in 2026. It has stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
One of Tollywood’s biggest stars Jr. NTR is also going to compete with other films. His much awaited project NTR 31 is already hailed by fans as a blockbuster pan-Indian project. It is helmed by the KGF director Prashanth Neel which adds on to fans restlessness.
Marvel’s Russo Brothers are also bringing back Robert Downey Jr. as a Supervillain in the new phase of Marvel universe. Avengers: Doomsday is predicted to dominate the global box office in 2026. Other projects like Batman 2, Lord of The Rings: The Hunt of Gollum and Shrek 5 are also expected to sway the cinemas.
