Loveyapa, which features Junaid Khan in the lead, is all set to arrive in theatres next month. The upcoming romantic drama is reported to be a remake of the Tamil blockbuster, Love Today.

While the release date approaches closer, a claim related to Junaid has now grabbed a lot of attention on social media. A source close to the actor opened up on how he prepared for the film by visiting different places.

The insider stated that Junaid spent almost three months in Delhi so that he could play the character perfectly on screen.

Furthermore, Junaid’s main intention was to know more about how a boy from Delhi behaves in regular life since he aimed to bring the same with his acting as he appeared on camera.

Apart from all these, Junaid went to various spots around the city, mixed with the local people, and adopted their lingo to make his character look authentic on screen.

While Junaid should be appreciated for what he did to prepare for the role, it seems like things are going a little bit over-the-top considering that he is playing a very normal character.

It would have been easy to believe the story if Junaid was a part of a historical drama or a biographical film.

It seems like the statement could be a strategy to make people aware of the film and get a decent opening on the first day. But everything will depend on the film’s trailer and overall response to the same.

In today’s situation, although people claim that they want newcomers, they are still interested in watching popular faces on the big screen.

Junaid still needs a few more years to establish a huge fanbase and Loveyapa’s future is entirely dependent on word-of-mouth.
