Actress Kajal Aggarwal’s response to the incident, however, has been different.
She came out on the streets of Shivaji Park, Mumbai, where she, along with others, paid respect and condolences to those who lost their lives in the attack.
Instead of simply sharing her thoughts on social media, she took a step forward and physically showed her support.
She also took to Instagram and shared that this attack is not a Hindu vs Muslim fight, but a humanity vs terrorism issue.
She wrote about how this is exactly what the haters want- to divide us.
This is the time we must unite as a nation and fight against terrorism, instead of fighting among ourselves and turning it into a religious matter.
Kajal truly seems to be one of the few with a rational perspective on the situation. The incident is a really difficult one to handle, but making everything about religion does not solve the real problems.
It is very respectable of Kajal to use her platform and voice to talk about such important matters instead of blindly spreading hate.
