No Guilt, No Regret: Kajol’s Loss, Kareena’s Lottery

Kajol is currently in the news owing to her upcoming film, Maa, which is going to release on June 27. For the unversed, the film is part of the Shaitaan Universe and is known to have a connection with the Ajay Devgn-R Madhavan starrer in its plot.

Maa is also set to unleash Kajol in a never-seen-before avatar.

The trailer of the horror thriller has already received a positive reception. Reports are that if the content clicks and the people like the film, it will join the recent successful mid-sized ventures- Kesari Chapter 2, Raid 2, and Jaat.

Earlier, a few also anticipated that Maa will perform much better at the box office by beating Aamir Khan-Genelia D’Souza’s Sitaare Zameen Par at the box office.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Kajol opened up about how easy it is for her to decline film offers.

The actress also shared that saying no to a script doesn’t come with guilt or overthinking. “It doesn’t even take a blink,” she said confidently.

Kajol also discussed how she has rejected larger projects like 3 Idiots, which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The actress called it a prime example of films that she rejected.

We all know Kajol’s loss became a lottery for Kareena Kapoor Khan in 3 Idiots.

But despite the film’s massive success, Kajol insists she holds no regrets. In her words, “I feel that those films were theirs, you know.”

Kajol’s fearless attitude toward turning down big projects proves that trusting your instincts can be more rewarding than chasing every hit.

With Maa promising a powerful performance and a fresh genre for her, it might just reaffirm that her path, though unconventional, continues to be impactful.
