Trailer Talk: Lavishly Mounted Archaic Love Story

So, here is the theatrical trailer of the eagerly awaited Bollywood flick Kalank. It is a Karan Johar production directed by Abhishek Varman.

Much like the teaser, the grandness can be felt immediately, but while the teaser felt shallow, the trailer gives a better vibe. The problem now is a different one. It is the predictable and outdated triangular love story. Kalank was initially planned to be made as a movie in the early 2000s. Maybe that was the right time.

Check out the trailer below. Kalank comprises of a massive cast featuring the likes of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. So far, Varun Dhawan hasn’t had a failure in a commercial attempt. Will Kalank add to the list? Kalank hits screens worldwide on April 17th.
