Odd …Very Odd Choice!

It’s all the preps of Jayalalithaa’s different versions of biopics this time. About four projects of the late Tamilnadu Chief Minister’s life story have been in the news for a long time now and one of them approved to be called official biopic titled Thalaivi directed by actress Amala Paul’s ex-husband A.L. Vijay.

Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad is penning the script and the lead cast to play Jayalalithaa have been rumored to be either Vidya Balan or Nayanthara, but finally, the makers have gone with the oddest choice possible for the role, which is Kangana Ranaut. Well, not that she is not a performer but she nowhere seems to suit Jayalalithaa.

Also, after the controversy and the name that she got after Manikarnika, not sure how the director is confidently going to bear the so-called stubborn actress from Bollywood. Vidya or Nayan would have been the best choice. Anyway, let’s see.
