Sports person Murlikant Petkar is about to win an Arjuna Award For Lifetime Achievement 52 years after he got the first Paralympics Gold Medal for India.
While most people think this award was long due, some are hinting at Kartik Aaryan’s stardom paving the way for the award.
Kartik Aaryan’s movie ‘Chandu Champion’ was the official biopic of Murlikant Petkar and it was directed by Kabir Khan. The movie did not work out well at the box office but was appreciated by critics.
Now the PR team for Kartik Aaryan is at work giving the star all the credits for the award. And this stunt is making people on social media angry.
Some public influencers that have posted on this matter hinting at Kartik being the reason behind the award are also being trolled by netizens. They feel it is utter disrespect to Murlikant Petkar who has done so much for the country and received so little.
People are angry with this action of Kartik’s PR team and they say it is unbelievable how stars can exploit such valuable citizens and their well deserved recognition for their own growth.
