Another Embarrassment for KVN After Toxic and Jana Nayagan

KVN Productions is facing fresh challenges after the release of the second single from KD The Devil. The song, Sarse Ninna Seraga Sarse, has sparked a major controversy over its lyrics.

Several Kannada audiences have criticised lyricist Manjunath BS. They claim the lyrics are vulgar, demeaning and inappropriate.

The Hindi version of the song, Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke, also faced backlash. It was eventually taken down from YouTube following strong public criticism.

Social media reactions suggest that KVN Productions is going through a difficult phase. Their major projects Jana Nayagan and Toxic have already faced multiple postponements in recent months.

Now, KD The Devil, which has been pending for a long time, is also dealing with negative attention. This has added pressure on the production house.

Reports indicate that KVN Productions has invested over 1,000 crores in Jana Nayagan, Toxic and KD The Devil. The repeated issues are raising concerns about the company’s current situation.

Amid the controversy, the Hindi lyricist of Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke has responded. He said the criticism has affected him deeply.

He clarified that he only translated the Kannada lyrics into Hindi. According to him, no additional content was added during the process.

With multiple setbacks surrounding KVN Productions, the focus is now on how the company will handle the situation. It remains to be seen whether the controversy will grow further or settle down.
