Boldest Look During Sad Time? Kiara Advani Under Fire

Kiara Advani’s recent appearance at the Pinkvilla Awards has sparked mixed reactions online. While many praised her bold fashion choice, others questioned the timing of her public outing.

The actress wore a brown leather dress that quickly grabbed attention. Her look became a major talking point across social media platforms.

This comes weeks after the passing of Sidharth Malhotra’s father, Sunil Malhotra, who had been unwell for some time. Kiara had earlier shared an emotional note after his demise in February.

Despite this, her presence at the awards event drew criticism from a section of users. Some questioned whether attending a public event during such a time was appropriate.

A few comments went further, criticising her outfit as too revealing. Others made personal remarks, linking her appearance to Sidharth Malhotra’s grieving period.

However, many people have strongly defended Kiara Advani. They called the criticism unfair and pointed out that professional commitments continue despite personal loss.

Supporters argued that Kiara has her own career responsibilities. Attending events and maintaining a public image is part of her work as an actor.

They also noted that grief is personal and does not follow a fixed timeline. Continuing with work does not mean someone is not mourning privately.

Several users highlighted the double standards in such reactions. They said male actors are often praised for staying strong during tough times, while women face criticism.

The debate continues online, with opinions divided. Kiara Advani’s appearance has once again sparked a larger conversation about public judgment and personal choice.
