WAR 2’s Biggest USP: Full Hype to Complete Silence

When War 2 promos first dropped, much of the conversation centred on Kiara Advani’s bikini shots, her glamorous appeal, and bold look. Social media was buzzing about her style and the belief that she might steal the limelight in the film.

Now that War 2 has been released, very few people are talking about her role, which says a lot about how forgettable her character turned out to be. The hype around her glamour seems to have vanished as audiences felt there was no depth beyond styling.

Her screen presence and performance were not bad. She looked convincing in action scenes, carried herself well opposite the leads, and did what was expected of her. Yet the weak writing and lack of a solid arc made her presence feel insignificant.

For most of the film, she floated in and out without impact. Beyond the promotional material, there were no memorable scenes or emotional moments to hold attention. It seemed like the makers did not want to give her character real weight.

Kiara Advani has proven in past films that she can deliver much more when offered a meaningful role. In War 2, however, she was reduced to background glamour, which was a wasted opportunity in a big franchise. The lack of depth stings harder here.
