Kill Director: Patch Up for Game Changer Disaster?

As per reports, Ram Charan will be teaming up with the director of the 2024 action movie ‘Kill’. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat can direct Ram Charan in a mythological epic which might be the seventeenth or eighteenth film of his career.

After the giant collaboration with Rajamouli, it was expected that a successful director like Shankar could do justice to Ram Charan’s stardom but Game Changer failed terribly and fans think Shankar’s direction style has gone outdated and antiquated now.

Can this new movie act as a patch up for Game Changer? There is a possibility that with a director like Nikhil Nagesh, there can be a totally different and new filmmaking approach to this.

‘Kill’ was a very well made film with superb action and strong screenplay and South Indian audiences too are watching it on OTT, so it can prove to be very good for the actor.

But the chemistry between the star and director has a lot to offer in Telugu films. It is not just the actor or the filmmaker that people come to see but what they do together like Allu Arjun-Sukumar or Prabhas-Rajamouli.

Ram Charan trying his hand with a Bollywood director might also be a bit risky, like it happened with Prabhas in ‘Adipurush’. Ram Charan has already had a Bollywood debut with the 2013 film ‘Zanjeer’ directed by Apoorva Lakhia and it was a huge disaster.

But if Nikhil Nagesh manages to give a new direction and approach to Ram Charan’s upcoming movie like he did to Kill, it will be good for both of them.
