KKPK 2: Salman, Akshay Flop, How KS So Confident?

Kapil Sharma entered the world of Bollywood with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in 2014.

After gaining huge popularity from his premier comedy show, his film was a huge success at the time and garnered good reviews from critics and viewers.

The makers announced the release of the second part of the film months ago and have been promoting it with several posters for the film.

Multiple potential release dates are under evaluation for the film, with September 26, 2025, emerging as a prominent option.

This date currently shows minimal competition and holds particular relevance, as the first installment was released during the same week a decade earlier, on September 25, 2015.

Concurrently, the promotional campaign for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has generated notable attention.

Four unique posters were released by the creators, each aligned with a different festival—Eid, Ram Navami, Baisakhi, and Easter—strategically timed to maximize visibility and engagement.

Each poster features Kapil Sharma seemingly participating in a wedding ceremony rooted in a different religious tradition.

This visual approach has led to speculation that the sequel’s narrative may center around the protagonist marrying women from four distinct faiths.

However, Kapil Sharma hasn’t been a star like he was in his initial years. Given his Great Indian Kapil Show performance in recent months, people are not interested in seeing him in another film.

It would take something out of the box in order to attract audiences to the theatres.

In a time where Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan are struggling to have a successful outing at the box office, betting on Kapil Sharma to deliver might be a risky bet.

Only time will tell how the film will turn out to be and whether it will be loved by the audiences just like the first installment or not.
