Kapil Sharma returns to cinemas with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. The trailer introduces him once again surrounded by multiple women in a chaotic rom-com setup. Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary, Parul Gulati and Ayesha Khan play key roles.
The plot appears close to the first film released in 2015. Audiences expected a fresh setup, but the trailer shows Kapil balancing several marriages again while searching for actual love. This time, cultural and household differences also drive humour.
The trailer received a mixed response. Some viewers enjoyed the jokes, while others felt the comedy works only in parts and struggles to stay sharp throughout. Execution will decide how well the humour lands on screen.
Religion seems to be a new added layer, and several comic moments revolve around it. Viewers now wait to see whether this twist strengthens the narrative or becomes repetitive like the franchise formula.
The film needs a standout approach to match or surpass the 2015 success. Audiences will soon see whether Kapil Sharma recreates the previous magic or delivers a familiar story with slight changes and new faces.
