Magazine spells ‘Peedika Padukone’; Twitterati react!

Deepika Padukone was recently declared as the only Indian actress to have her name on the Forbes list for top ten highest paid actresses internationally. The actress, who had her name at the tenth position after Mila Kunis, was also mentioned in the popular magazine Harper’s Bazaar’s list. However, the magazine got the spelling of her name and invited furious to amused reactions from fans.

In the magazine, her name was written as ‘Peedika Padukone’ and her fans on Twitter had quite the reactions. Referring to her endless comparisons with fellow actress Priyanka Chopra, one twitter user wrote, “they constantly keep attaching Priyanka’s name to her that’s why shit like ‘PEEDIKA PADUKONE’ happened LOL.”

Another one said, “When Deepika’s PR tried to let down #Priyanka [and] moments later ‘Peedika Padukone’ happens.” Others just mentioned how hilarious they found the spelling error.
